We've got an 8 hour drive to the second show of our first real tour so I'm writing this from a van seat. Last night we played Milwaukee and tonight it'll be Sioux Falls. If we had to say where our "home town" is, it would be Milwaukee, WI. None of us grew up there and only one actually lives there now but it's served as a headquarters for the band for the last 2 years. We had our first practice, recorded our EP and just plain hang there often, so when it was time to pick a place where Lowtalker is from, it was the obvious choice. It was great place to start the tour and the show was fun. Strike Anywhere, Trash Talk and Get Rad played a room called The Borg Ward and a lot of friends were there hangin'. We'll be playing 4 shows in the US with Strike Anywhere until we meet up with Bane and Touché Amore in the Northwest. Those 4 bands will then cross Canada and we couldn't be happier to be a part of the tour. I can't imagine this ride being very exciting to read about, but check back for more stories and updates as the tour goes on. If you're coming to any shows, find us and say hi. Catch ya later!
